Double Fine recently revealed their new game Stacking, and its premise is certainly different:

 

Stacking is a game about a young chimney sweep named Charlie Blackmore, and his quest to reunite his family after they’ve been forced into indentured servitude by an evil industrialist. Oh, and he happens to be a Russian Matryoshka, or Nesting Doll.

 

Because Charlie Blackmore is only little you have to help him by nesting in NPC’s. Though this sounds rather creepy, it’s about to get worse, Charlie Blackmore can then control the NPCs and use their unique abilities to solve fiendish puzzles.

 

Thankfully the cute Victorian art style makes this look as adorable as their previous game Costume Quest, which is getting some DLC!

 

Grubbins on Ice is the title of the Winter themed add-on, and it will give players a new level to run around in, as well as quests, items, characters and of course, costumes!

 

Stacking is expected to arrive Spring 2011, and Grubbins on Ice sometime in December.
