Hardcore Metal Gear fans just got something new to get excited about. Announced via Hideo Kojima’s twitter page, a snake skin embossed 3DS is set to accompany the launch of the 3DS remake of Snake Eater.

 

 

 

The price and date of the 3DS are to be announced on January 20th; a few months before the release of Snake Eater 3D. The embossing as seen in the photo, gives the DS the look and feel of snake skin and no, it is not edible. According to the post this is also the first embossing of it’s kind for the system.
