Development diaries discuss gameplay, motion capture and more Forthcoming Marvel-based titles X-Men Destiny and Spider-Man: Edge of Time, slated for release on September 27th and October 14th respectively, have recently premiered three new videos giving an in-depth look at the development processes of each game.
First up is a new video from X-Men Destiny developers Silicon Knights explaining the various underpinning issues concerning the authenticity of such a game and how they strived to create an interactive-heavy experience worthy of the Marvel and X-Men banner that would also please fans of the series.
Next are two short vignettes hosted by Josh Keaton and Christopher Daniel Barnes, voice actors of the present-day and 2099 versions of Spider-Man in Edge of Time. The two not only detail the game's premise as well as a basic fundamental outline of the mechanics but offer a brief behind-the-scenes glimpse of the interactions between the two Spider-Men and how the actors worked together to achieve an entertaining yet faithful rendition of the characters themselves.
